This season has brought new life and energy to the Chifundo Foundation. Our gardens are thriving, our students are learning, and our community is seeing the results of hard work and faith in action.
Across the campus, rows of sugar cane, cabbage, tomatoes, peas, and more are now taking root and flourishing. Alongside the crops, our poultry project continues to grow, providing fresh eggs and an important source of income and nutrition for our students and staff. Together, these developments are helping Chifundo move closer to true sustainability and self-reliance.

A major milestone in this success has been the installation of our new well. For the first time, we have access to regular irrigation, allowing us to maintain consistent watering throughout the year. This dependable water source has transformed our ability to plant and harvest, especially during the drier months when crops once struggled to survive.
The results have been remarkable. Areas of campus that were once parched now stand lush and green. Harvests can now become regular, consistent are larger, and our students are gaining valuable hands-on experience in both farming and animal care - lessons that will serve them and their communities for years to come. A huge word of recognition has to go to the Trust, who have been the driving force behind this, from vision/concept through to delivery.

We are truly reaping the rewards of this progress. The Chifundo campus feels more vibrant than ever, filled with hope and the promise of what’s still to come.
To all who continue to support the Foundation’s mission - whether through donations, encouragement, or partnership - thank you.
